Important Information Regarding Spring Financial Aid Disbursement and Student Business Service Refund:

In an effort to assist you in planning for the beginning of the fall 2014 term, please note important information regarding your financial aid disbursement and refund. The first class day for fall 2014 is August 25th. According to Federal Regulations, the earliest date your financial aid can begin disbursing to your student billing account is August 15th. Student Business Services will begin processing refunds of disbursed financial aid immediately, and you can expect to have access to those funds beginning August 22nd if you have your bank information established in My Direct Deposit.

Important Information for Parent Plus Borrowers

The U.S. Department of Education has determined for the 2014-2015 academic year the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) MUST be completed before the student (parent) may apply for the Parent Plus Loan.
Please remember the plus credit check is valid for 90 days. Therefore, we encourage you to complete the 2014-2015 FAFSA early to determine eligibility for all available federal, state and institutional funds. If the file is not complete within the 90-day window, unfortunately the credit will not be valid and the borrower would need to re-apply for the Parent Plus Loan at Studentloans.gov. The Parent PLUS loan application will be available for completion on June 1, 2014.
