| The
Office of Student Financial Aid maintains the Red Raider Student Employment
Center (RRSEC) which assists students in locating employment. It is a free
service available to Texas Tech students and employers 24 hours a day, 7 days a
week. |

Employment opportunities received
by the office range from those which require no experience to those which are
highly skilled and technical.
Some of the types of jobs are:
- Childcare
- Clerical
- Health Science
- Housework
- Yard Work etc.
- Restaurant
- Sales
- Miscellaneous

| The rate of pay
varies with previous experience and training of the applicant. It is decided
upon by the employer, not the RRSEC.
