Texas Tech University Announces New Retention Grants to Qualifying Students

Dear Red Raider:

The Office of Student Financial Aid would like to announce a new grant program to assist students in achieving their educational goals, the TTU Retention Grant. The grant will be administered to qualifying students beginning Spring 2008. The TTU Retention Grant will be awarded for spring 2008 to Freshman and Sophomore students attending fall 2007 who meet the following initial eligibility criteria: Have a cumulative GPA of 2.25 or higher at the end of the Fall 2007 semester Have an initial unmet need (Cost of Attendance minus Estimated Family Contribution) of $10,000 or more.
